I am kitchen manager and food handler certified and have over a decade of experience in everything from fine dining and catering to food trucks and cooking classes. I have a passion for creating meals that combine various flavors, techniques, and styles that produce exciting dishes that are not only refined and complex in flavor, but also affordable.
Services I offer:
Catering – I specialize in small groups (up to 75 people) and family-style (buffet) service. I can also provide large batches of specialty condiments, garnishes, cocktail mixers, and infused spirits. Popular items are smoked red bell pepper ketchup, habanero dill green beans, watermelon “shrub”, and serrano-infused reposado tequila.
Personal Cooking Classes/Dinner Parties/Personal Chef – I can come to your home or venue of choosing and prepare everything from small bites to multi-course meals, all while explaining techniques and answering questions, encouraging and inviting those interested to help out and learn new styles and methods of cooking. Or, leave it all to me and focus on having a great time with your guests and keeping the DJ in line. I’ll handle service and clean-up.
Pickled, Preserved, and Smoked Items For Sale – I offer a variety of homemade all-natural condiments, pickles, jellies, jams, sauces, spreads, and more that can all be ordered online at the Smokey Treats Facebook page. I have a menu that rotates and changes seasonally, so there’s always something new. Shipping options are available, as is local pickup or delivery within a reasonable distance of my home location. Popular items include; smoked eggplant spread, smoke-roasted mushrooms, smoke-dried roma tomatoes, habanero gold jelly, and smoked onion jam.
